What is your morning routine like?

Well, in the morning, I like to start my day with one hour of yoga. I do it virtually. Along with my parents and the yoga teacher who's based in Kerala, I have a trainer who comes home.

I definitely start my day by lifting weights 🏋️‍♂️

Take my dog out for a walk, and then I get her to the office 🐕

What do you do in the evenings?

I'm a very routine person.

I chalk out my day so that I can divide it between different things that I do. I really maximize my day.

In the evenings, it's more of unwinding with family, relaxing with my dog, having a little walk with my husband, or talking about the day. So it's really a time to unwind.

I will definitely speak to my parents, place a call to them, do a video call, and talk to some friends 📞

How do you manage your workload?

I like to plan my day. One of the things that I started doing very early on when I started working in the corporate was to maintain a diary. I still have a diary that has dates.

I like to plan my day the night prior. I write about what I need to do the next day and how much time it will take.

I think it helps me plan my day better and can sort of divide my day into different compartments 📆

I'm a bit of an early riser, so I wake up around 5:30 or so. I get a good one hour to myself to look at my day and what I can and can't do. That helps me sort of take care of the different time buckets that I need to plan.

How do you Identify areas to improve?

I think I improve with constant learning. If you have a learning attitude which most entrepreneurs do, we all like to pick up new skills, learn new things, and that's what you're constantly doing day in, day out.

The more you speak about your struggles, good, bad, and ugly, with other entrepreneurs. It helps you understand what you need to work on and what you need to do better.

I think that learning attitude, curiosity, and speaking to somebody really helps 👼

I have five constant people, and two of them are my cheerleaders. They will always tell me what I'm doing wrong. One will neutralize, and I keep talking to them very regularly so that it helps me understand myself better because it's very important to be self-aware.

What do you do for your mental health?

I don't wake up thinking I need to do this for my mental health.

I have my yoga routine and my fitness routine culled out🧎‍♀️

I spend a lot of time with my 4 legged baby. I spend a lot of time with my friends, with family.

I run a traveling company, I travel from time to time, and I think all this encompasses in helping me be a better person mentally  ✈

Any advice to other entrepreneurs?

This whole attitude of you have to be overworked, and you shouldn't have to focus on yourself, and entrepreneurship is a lot about sacrifice, I think it's a very wrong narrative.

If you're not happy with it, I think somewhere it will flow back into your business, your other employees, customers, vendors, and whoever you're working with and mainly you 🙂

So you must prioritize mental health and take time for yourself. Once people do, they enjoy what they're doing.

Some of us like reading, some go for a run, swim, whatever it be. I think every day, at least one hour, every entrepreneur should take out for themselves because it helps them discover themselves better, helps them prioritize themselves, and thereby prioritize their company.

Thank You 💗
