Hi everyone! Can’t believe the first month of the year is already over. 2020 was three years ago, can you believe that? Yikes. Anyway, we just wanted to pop in to give you our monthly update!

Year 2 starting off strong:

  • We put out our first annual mental health report this month! Let us know what you think
  • Started a cool new project that’s just gone up on our socials
  • We’ve started 2 support groups a month on our discord community

Annual report

Did you know that there’s a mental health epidemic happening globally? In India alone it’s been reported that there are close to 200M people struggling. In talking to our users almost daily, we realized that there’s so much information out there – good information that can help. So through our interactions with over 65,000+ users, we found some key insights that we think highlight the state of mental health in India.

Emotional intelligence is power, right?

For the past year, we had one therapist-led support session every week to give our community some additional support in their journey. A lot of you said you liked the sessions and wanted more, so we heard you.

Starting this month, we’ve been holding two therapist-led support groups on our discord community – Wednesdays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 12pm.

Here are the some of the session topics the therapists have discussed:

  • Practising empathy
  • Dealing with a breakup
  • Finding meaning in life
  • Understanding grief

We all live in a society

Hope you got that meme reference; but anyway, it’s hard to get away from societal stigma no? Or really know if others are also struggling with the same things you’re grappling with in your mind. We’ve just launched a new video series on our Instagram called “Cancel Stigma Stories” where we talk to people and answer the questions that plague us.

We were crunching some numbers and realized we’ve given over 17,000+ hours of therapy! So many of you are taking charge of your mental health and we’re so glad! And we’re grateful that you trust us and come back to us

If you think someone you love could use some extra help this time of year, we offer gift therapy sessions. You can choose to gift your person (or people!) bundles of therapy sessions that start in packs of 4,8, and more. And as usual, you can always book a single session – this applies to yourself too.

We’ve got weekday events on our discord

  • Co-working, every day from 2-3 pm.
  • Chill with me, every other day 5-6 pm.
  • Journaling - Thursday, 7-8 pm.
