Hi folks,

This is Ritika, doctor and founder at Rocket Health, writing in our monthly updates this time. It’s been a long long time since I caught up with you guys. How have you been doing?

I am just processing that half of the year is already gone. But, I am very optimistic about the coming 6 months.

This month, I have a task for all of you. Amidst the daily grind, it's easy to get swept away by the unending task list and deadlines, so much so that we forget how much we've accomplished and grown along the way.

To help you out, I am taking a moment to fill up my cookie jar with highlights of the past month and vulnerabilities of the future 👇🏻

Work wins:

  • Two of our interns coming in as full-time teammates 🎉 As we grow, my goal is that our people grow with us

  • Helping founders bring mental healthcare for themselves and their companies. We have a lot of founders taking therapy with Rocket Health. Slowly seeing them value therapy, and bringing it to their teams speaks volumes about the culture they are building.

  • Adding our 70th teammate. When we started Rocket Health, 18 months ago, it was just the two of us — my brother and I. I am really proud of where we have come. Trust me we couldn’t have done without you guys 🧡

Personal Wins:

  • I am in my hometown after a long time. Love spending time with family and doggos (while missing Zo, she will always be our chief happiness officer)

  • Shifting office/home, while renovating - trust me it is quite a task

I’m looking forward to:

  • Restarting therapy this month (excited about it 💪🏼). I feel there are a lot of things I need to work on. I guess in the chase of balancing work and life, sometimes I forget to prioritize myself and feel overwhelmed. I cannot wait to work with my therapist on this

  • Settling in the new HQ and inviting people over

  • A solo trip — not sure when and where, but it is surely in the cards

  • Working on my physical health (it’s about time)

We have started June with a bang, so much so that even our monthly mailer got a bit delayed

  1. Our team celebrated mental health day at Rocket Health on 27th of May. We were completely shut — like literally shut. Since inception, there has not been a single day that we were not active (in shifts of course), day in and day out. It was time that we took the much-needed break — no Slack notifications, no user updates, nothing, nada. Check here what our teammates were up to that day

  2. Getting bored? Adulting can be tough and lonely, I totally relate. Catch us live in our community to hang out with us. (See the event lineup here)

  3. Having trouble catching in on some sleep or feeling overwhelmed like me? Watch our new sleep and meditation stories (I fell asleep within 15 minutes of watching this — maybe cuz it’s boring, maybe that was the purpose of it 🤔).
